국내·외 자연생태 연구 우수논문 발굴·선정하여 국립생태원 학술지 PNIE(국립생태원보)*에
논문 게재를 추진하고자 『제1회 국립생태원 연구논문 공모전』을 추진하오니 많은 참여바랍니다.

- 국내·외 자연생태 분야 대학원생 및 관련 연구자
※ 응모 논문 수 제한 없음
● 응모 요령
- 영문으로 작성된 논문을 Microsoft Word 문서(.docx)로 제출
※ 논문 작성 가이드 참고 (다운로드 : bit.ly/3qn88L4)
● 공모 주제
- 생태보전평가, 기후변화, 외래생물, 생태정보 활용, 생태모방 기술, 생태환경정책 등의 연구논문
● 선정 방법
- 심사위원회의 채점결과 고득점 순으로 결정
● 심사 기준
- 연구주제의 창의성, 내용 전개 및 연구방법의 논리성, 연구자료의 신뢰성, 연구결과의 활용성 등
● 시상 내역
- 총 상금 1,000만원

- 접수기간 : 2021년 3월 8일(월) ~ 8월 31일(화) 24시까지
- 결과발표 : 2021년 9월 중순 예정(홈페이지 및 개별연락)
- 시상식 : 2021년 9월말 예정
※ 일정은 변동될 수 있으며, 변동 시 홈페이지를 통해 공지 드립니다.
● 제출 서류
- 논문 원문 1부, 표절검사 확인서 1부(Similarity Check-Crossref, Copy Killer, KCI문헌유사도검사 등)
● 제출 방법
- 홈페이지 접수 (www.nie-thesiscontest.com)
● 유의 사항
- 1인당 제출 건수 제한은 없음
- 응모주제 및 형식에 적합하지 않은 경우, 심사에서 제외 될 수 있음
- 응모된 제출서류는 일체 반환하지 않으며, 수상작은 PNIE 규정에 따라
추가 심사 후 「국립생태원보」에 게재할 계획임
- 최종 수상자의 경우 시상식에 참석해야 함
- 제출된 연구논문이 타 학술지에 게재되었거나 연구 부정행위가 적발되는 경우
입상취소 및 시상금 환수조치 하며, 지적재산권 등 관련 분쟁시 모든 책임은 응모자에게 있음

The First National Institute of Ecology Competition for Research Papers
The National Institute of Ecology (NIE) is holding The First National Institute of Ecology Competition for Research Papers to discover
and select excellent papers on natural ecological research in Korea and abroad and publish them in PNIE. We invite many researchers
to participate in the competition.
* PNIE: Proceedings of the National institute of Ecology of the Republic of Korea (pnie.koar.kr/)
● Eligibility
- Graduate students and researchers in the field of natural ecology in Korea and abroad
※ No limit on the number of manuscripts submitted
● How to apply
- Submit a Microsoft Word document (.docx) for the paper written in English

● Competition subjects
- Research papers on Ecological conservation and assessment, Climate change, Invasive alien species,
Ecological information utilization, Eco-imitation technology, Ecological environment policy, etc.
● Selection
- The winners will be determined from the order of the highest score by the judging committee.
● Evaluation criteria
- Creativity of research subjects, logic and appropriateness of content development and research method,
credibility of research data, utilization of research results, etc.
● Awards

- Contest period : March 8 - August 31, 2021 (Korean standard time)
- Announcement of winners : Middle of September 2021 (website and individually contacted)
- Award ceremony : End of September 2021
※ This is tentative schedule and if it changes, it will be notified through the website
● Documents to be submitted
- 1 copy of the original paper, 1 copy of plagiarism test confirmation(Similarity Check-Crossref, Copy Killer, etc.)
● How to submit
- Submit through the website (www.nie-thesiscontest.com)
● Notes
- There is no limit on the number of submissions per person
- Any paper whose subject or format is not suitable for competition may be excluded from the review.
- All submitted documents will not be returned, and the winning works will be published in the Proceedings of
the National Institute of Ecology of the Republic of Korea after additional review according to PNIE regulations.
- If a submitted research paper is published in another journal or if research misconduct is detected,
the award will be canceled, and the prize money will be redeemed.
If there is a dispute related to intellectual property rights, the applicant must take full responsibility.
